Optimizing your mind's healthiness to the Internet market means embracing the multifaceted dimensions that can really only be called holistic.

The body and mind always draw on internal and external context, so it follows that improving the physical dimension improves the mental, which improves one’s market read, which improves results.

Exercise can even make you smarter, or at least give you more neurons to work with, which has got to count for something. Arrange your days so that you can be working from the peak or no-peak energy the majority of the time.

Synthetic Optimism

You believe it is the truth when the truth says otherwise. I personally called it a political state of mind, if this happens to me I often bring the counter-narratives to calm my head down.

You can do anything you think you can. This knowledge is literally the gift of the gods, for through it you can solve every human problem. It should make of you an incurable optimist. It is an open door. — Robert Collier

Make a schedule of what you’re going to do. Let it keep you company and distracts you — the old, familiar roles and an exceedingly large backlog of to-dos gave you the sense that there is always something to do.

At the same time, the feeling you get from releasing unwanted tasks, activities, and to-dos is also unbelievably liberating. Some of the reviews I read say it is even more energizing than the rush they feel after opening up their physical space.

Aim for game point

Ok, the trick is to stay focused on tangible rewards (in this instance, the amount of time gained), always looking for the maximum gain possible.

Too often we start out with the best of intentions when it comes to heaving time attachments and then sabotage our own success by adding a little “tail” to our refusal.

There are three primary tasks that we should do in the long run to benefit from our commitment.

  • Delete. Cease your commitment to the task, responsibility, or role altogether.
  • Delegate. Assign the task or responsibility to someone else.
  • Do it. If there is no escaping the task, responsibility, or role, figure out a way to do it smarter and faster.

Remember your intention, you are working in order to make room to move in the direction of your vision. Keeping your theme/mood vividly in mind will help you find the courage to do a radical release.

Leaving any vestiges of de-energizing commitments in your calendar will keep you bogged down and anchored. Remember the old adage, A ship in the harbor is safe, but that is not what ships are for.

Have a plan and be consistent

As with anything else that you do on social media, creating a recognizable brand as a thoughtful writer takes time. However, by having a content calendar and consistently writing content, including meaningless articles on Twitter and your Linkedin profile, you will gain traction and awareness among industry colleagues.

Just don’t forget to share your content in writer groups as well, for maximum results.
