But you can’t be dirt poor either
Those of you who know me or follow my articles know that I started vacationing in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, almost 20 years ago and lived there off and on for nearly four years. The death of my husband four months ago has found me living here again, at least as a snowbird.
I sent my husband off into the Pacific a week ago and hosted a celebration for him on Friday at his favorite Puerto Vallarta haunt. Now, I’m still tweaking my casita to suit my needs. After living in total chaos for over three months while tearing down a large apartment, 450 square feet of order seems rather comfortable. So, at last, I feel ready and inspired to offer you, the reader, some practical tips about living in Mexico.
Puerto Vallarta has a little of everything; It is both a tourist town and a real Mexican City. It comes with lots of art and culture, it’s a foodie’s paradise, and it’s loaded with natural beauty.
