Trump, the Greatest Writer Ever

As writers on Medium, we are supposed to be able to write — to master the English language, express our thoughts clearly and our emotions intensely, and avoid grammatical and spelling errors.
Why are we held to a higher standard than the former president of the United States?
More to the point, why would any of us vote for someone whose only qualifications for a job infinitely more important than ours are inherited (and mostly squandered) wealth and bragging? Someone who can’t even write a rant properly.
If you listen, you can almost hear the echo of an answer to this question from someone outside of Medium: “Whadaya mean higher standard? We have so much fun at rallys. Everybodys so energetisized. The music’s grate! Isn’t that high standards enough fer ya? Trump ferever. We luv Trump. That’s our standard. See our t-shirts. ‘I’d rather be Russian than Democrat.’”
At least the words on the t-shirts are spelled right.
MAGA: Morons Are Governing America. Meanwhile, the rest of us are doing our best to express our revulsion at squandering wealth and bragging. In good English. With no grammatical mistakes. And no spelling errors.
