Stop building the habit of getting up early.
Instead, make it your life. Convince yourself — this is how I live, period.
Last year, I was inspired by Kobe Bryant to get up early. I tried but failed 100’s of times. The reason was I didn’t have the long-term vision. I was driven by the motivational speech. Recently, I asked myself, what about when things start getting hard?
Me inside — you’ll get back to the same fucking excuses. From that moment I changed everything. I created an urgency that if I don’t get up at 4:00 am, I’m letting myself and my loved ones down.
Why do you want to become a morning person? Will you sustain that routine? If not, then create an urgency to make it part of your lifestyle. Otherwise, it’s just 2 to 3 days of motivation that comes and goes.
