Shereen Bingham threw out the 10-word Valentine’s Day story challenge, and I’m here to meet that challenge. This time, it’s ten 10-word stories that tell one tale.

  1. Paper and lace valentine cut to perfection, signed in red ink.
  2. She tucked the tiny heart into his valentine box, hoping.
  3. The bell rings: one red rose, a box of chocolates.
  4. Red high heels, a swirling skirt; he holds her close.
  5. A walk to the door, hesitant moves, and tentative kisses.
  6. The telephone rings and her heart leaps, anticipating his voice.
  7. Down on one knee, asking the question, she says yes!
  8. His feet may be frozen, but his heart is true.
  9. She helps their eldest child cut lace and paper hearts.
  10. The elderly couple holds hands as they walk and remember.

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Pikachu, I choose you! Tag me if you choose to meet this challenge so I can read it. Brian Lageose Mallory🐝 JD Nealey Martin Morrison … Anyone who wants to do it! It’s fun :)
