Bank Robbery
I just read a news article about a person who single-handedly robbed the National Bank here in town. The article said they think it was someone with the build and voice of a man. Money was removed from the vault and the robber made a clean getaway.
The bank had just opened and there were only a few customers inside. For some time now, most people have been accustomed to doing their banking without having to park their car and go inside. They keep the tellers busy by using the drive-up windows or they use the ATM.
The bank had been allowing customers inside on an appointment basis only. On 1 August 2022, the bank reopened to customers without the need to make an appointment.
