What the Fuck, Why Not!
Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead!
When I was thirty-five, a smoking hot woman, fifteen years younger than me walked into my office at work and told me she was attracted to me.
A dream come true.
Long dark hair, amazing figure, super trim, and extremely fit.
The first thought in my head was, “So!”
The list of reasons that supported the ‘So!’ went through my mind like fast-moving, rolling movie credits—one right after the other.
1 — Fifteen years younger
2 — She was an employee of mine
3— She was a student of mine
4 — She was the ex-fiance of my lead instructor
5 — I was dating a woman my own age and had been for almost three years
6 — My girlfriend and I were talking about marriage
7 — It violated my own code of conduct
The second thought in my head was, “What the fuck, why not!”
Any of the seven single reasons above was enough to make a man smarter than me turn and run. Yet, even though I had multiple reasons to shut it down right then and there, I didn’t.
