Xbox Wants To Be Everything, Everywhere, All at Once
Their goal is to become the largest cross-platform gaming company

I’ve attended many employee town hall snoozefests led by CEOs and have suffered through many of their Elon Muskerberg-like speeches (that they probably wrote in their Teslas the morning of while playing on Steam), but never have I heard a leader make a statement as bold as what Sarah Bond, Xbox’s newest president, reportedly told staff during a town hall meeting before the company’s New Business Strategy podcast episode aired on YouTube three weeks ago.
So, what exactly does “Every screen is an Xbox” mean?
It might help if we back things up. Get ready for a quick history lesson.
I’m going to “yada-yada” the timeline and a bunch of antiquated hardware (because there are way too many) and stick to the main four console makers: Sega, Nintendo, PlayStation, and Xbox.
