I just had a religious experience. That is the only thing to call it. I just watched the newest release from Nightwish, a music video of their song “Perfume of the Timeless” and I am still crying with joy.

Swifties have their thing, and hurrah for them, but that is not my thing. I’m part of the Nightwish Army.

A religious experience. Quite odd, though, since it came from a proudly secular composer who puts Darwin’s theory of evolution and books by Richard Dawkins to music. At a concert in Wembley Arena, Dawkins even made a personal appearance on stage with them to finish the show.

The composer is Tuomas Holopainen.
