Your Defense of Bro Culture
I’m indignantly poppin’ off again.
I won’t share specifically who the inspiration is for the following rant. He means to be a “good guy,” I believe. Like too many “good guys,” though, he can’t help flinging the “not all men” defense at the oppressed (women) with whom he’s simultaneously vowing allyship.
Bless his heart.
The Rant
I recently read a pretty good article with which I agreed. He seemed to get it. The author, I felt, got that bros voting for Trump are the latest iteration of the culture gender supremacy women have been fighting since time immemorial. He enumerated much of the misogynistic gender supremacy dogma these guys embrace. The author explained how bros feel the loss of that supremacy threaten them personally; so, they voted for the rapist.
Just never-you-mind that their dogma threatens girls and women.

“Let’s be clear about what this really means for women… Bro culture = rape culture. And, rape culture is behind the Resolute Desk “whether [women] like it or not.”
