In-app messages help you engage with customers in powerful context sensitive ways. They can educate, onboard, nudge and celebrate customer milestones.

One year ago we set out to build a platform that enables product teams to build and test out ideas with as little effort as possible.

Introducing Gist

Gist gives you access to a library of ready built micro-experiences (Gists) that can be easily dropped into your existing application without writing a line of code.

From our dashboard you can select any of the readily available gists and customize the look and feel to match your app. Gist lets you use your own visual language with attributes such as fonts, color scheme, and corner radii all fully customizable.

For a personalized experience you can hook up external APIs and include images, text and lists. This will enable you to reach your customers with messages that show which items in their wishlist are on sale and which credit card is going to expire.

To speed up the integration process we interface with tools like Firebase & Mixpanel. This allows you to introduce Gist in your current workflow without replacing your current analytics tool or having to reimplement things like tracking.

Who is this tool for?

We built Gist for people who want to improve their mobile product but don’t necessarily have the technical background or time to create compelling in-app messaging flows.

Each flow within the library can be customized and expanded upon. If you want to go further Gist also enables you to build your own cross-platform experiences from scratch using JSON.
