What's your take on the long-term aspects of this feature for creators? Do you find it odd that it skirts our copyrights as writers? They don't allow you to turn off the feature nor to present your own voice (for those writers who want to).

My comments on their announcement story: https://link.medium.com/QsLv8APyjpb

“What Are Writers’ Ownership Rights Over Audio Readings to Their Content?”

So it makes you wonder how they must be aggregating all our content data for AI for their own monetization at our expense and paying top writers some amount to garner support for their experiments...

Top writers should be asking on behalf of all writers for more transparency and tools that actually help writers. This feature is primarly for readers, not for writers, and it only provides 6 terrible voices (of one race and of 2 countries which completely ignores the natural human variations in the world--this platform's missions touts spreading ideas to help people understand the world better but that seems contradictory without allowing even the option through actual voices and by forcing readers to consume creators' content through artificial filters including computerized voices).
