Greetings from The Birdbath! This monthly newsletter from Bower Blue takes a look at digital tips & trends impacting the visual arts & design communities. Any questions? Let us know!

#1. Fairs Are Back

The big news this past month was that in-person art fairs are back, baby! Have we learned anything from the age of online viewing rooms? We sure have. In short, a good OVR is a good web page. The best ones are rich, multimedia experiences that tell a good story about the art. Our favorite was the OVRs for Independent Art Fair. You can still check them out here.

#2. What Platform Is Right for Me?

Clients often ask us, “What social media platform is best for me?” First, it helps to understand how each of the different platforms work. SEMRush has a thorough breakdown of different content distribution channels (owned, paid, earned), how best to leverage each, and what metrics to look at to determine success. Still unsure? We’re here to help.

#3. Videos

So you’re going to put your videos on Instagram? Where to start? Instagram has some solid insight and advice.
