Within Box Platform, we’re constantly looking at ways to help improve the experiences of our developers and their customers, with new tools, services, guides, and more. We know that the experiences of your customers interacting with Box services crosses many devices and environments, and as such we are building new suites of tools and services to meet those needs.

Today we’re happy to announce a current focus towards improving our native mobile experiences, starting with a brand new iOS SDK. This new SDK is a ground up rebuild using Swift, and supports the latest third-party iOS developer frameworks including Cocoapods and Carthage.

We’ll be GA’ing the SDK later this year for everyone, but are reaching out to our early adopters to start integrating this new SDK through our limited beta program. We want to hear from you if we’re building to meet your needs, helping us shape the future of tools within Box Platform.

To see more about the announcement and to sign up for the beta, please see our official announcement post.
