Connecting securely to the extended enterprise has become an operational necessity for most businesses today. Distributed IT ecosystems of onsite and remote employees, customers, suppliers and partners converge in the extended enterprise architecture. At Box, we believe the core of this digital transformation is cloud content management (CCM) — the secure way of bringing people, information, business processes and applications together to revolutionize how you work across the extended enterprise.

Security and data protection are at the forefront of our strategy to enable businesses across the world, and this led to the creation of the Box Trust initiative announced in late 2014. Box Trust is a vetted ecosystem of technology partners that ensures our customers have access to the most comprehensive security solutions on the market. With the help of Box Trust, customer can extend the security we build into Box into the rest of their enterprise deployments. Today, we are excited to announce the expansion of the Box Trust family with two new additions, Centrify and Cisco Cloudlock.

Centrify, headquartered in Santa Clara, California, is a leading provider of Identity and Access Management (IdAM) technologies. The Centrify for Box Single Sign-On (SSO) integration helps eliminate password sprawl with active directory-based SSO solution for Box. This ultimately delivers a seamless end-user experience while giving IT teams centralized management and control capabilities with the Centrify Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) offering.

Cloudlock has been part of Cisco, headquartered in San Jose, California, since August 2016 and is an industry leader in Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) technologies. Cisco Cloudlock’s integration with Box delivers an API-based CASB solution while preserving the rich end-user experience and performance with Box. Cisco Cloudlock’s solution helps enterprises meet regulatory and security compliance needs with DLP policies to satisfy PCI, HIPAA and other mandates.

In today’s extended enterprise, corporate perimeters have faded and real-time collaboration and workflow management have become competitive necessities. Box Trust brings together IT organizations, security professionals, application vendors and the security ecosystem to deliver enterprise-wide offerings for visibility, protection and control. We are excited to welcome our new partners to the Box Trust ecosystem and look forward to working together to enabling the migration to the cloud, the safer place for enterprise content.
