Try ‘Member Role’ for Efficient Inventory Management
📢You can now make a custom role to prohibit features and hide categories among your team members. (The feature is currently available on BoxHero web and will be supported on the mobile app in the near future.)
What is a ‘Custom Role’?
If you have worries like:
- 🙍♂️Can’t only the admin do the stock audit?
- 🤷 I want only the admin to be able to see some of the categories!
- 🤦♂️I’m scared that someone might delete our inventory data by accident!

How to Start
For the features you wish to prohibit or categories to hide, simply take the check off from the list to make a custom role and add the designated members to that role. Please be aware that designating roles is only allowed by the admin.
If a member is prohibited from making a stock audit, a notification will pop up once they try to make an audit. For categories, it will automatically be hidden from that member.
