Badges and Access Keys as NFTs

Badges are a unique and special way for BoxSwappers to show-off their achievements and status within the crypto gaming space. After the introduction of profiles, users will have their badges displayed on their BoxSwap profile for everyone to see. Offered to everyone and anyone, badges are exchangeable via BoxSwap and can be traded, collected, and sold!

Gamifying our experience

Our team loves blockchain games so it makes sense for us to strive for the same level of fun. We are working on gamifying our experience and building out new ways for traders to show off their assets and create liquidity (getting paid). Badges are the start of a more interactive environment within BoxSwap. We hope with the addition of badges, BoxSwap will be able to mix fun and finance into our community.

Our NFTs!

Our badges are NFTs because we want to allow users to experience true ownership. The smart contract code can be found here and the deployed contract here. The contract follows several ERC721 standards and is intended to be used as an access key or license key but has a range of purposes. It supports several features such as subscription durations, subscription activations, promotional pricing, and partner profit sharing.

BoxBadges as NFTs

Reward Badges

This badge type is awarded to users who complete a task or are the top of a specific leaderboard. Hustler Badges are earned by making the most swaps in a month and Baller Badges are earned by making the most valuable swap.

Access Badges

The BoxKey badge provides access to premium content and early access to new features. An example of when early access would be useful is the future release of trader profiles. With BoxKey, you would be first in choosing a unique profile username and url.
A BoxKey can be activated at any time for 1 year of access. The initial availability is set to 100 while total supply is capped at 1,000. It isn’t purchasable, but will be given to distinguished members of the community on a weekly basis.
