The Journey to tmw
The Mobile Wallet was striving to make their mark in digital payment industry. They gathered a strong tech team to develop one of the finest financial products. Their biggest problem — Their name. Use of the word ‘wallet’ had restricted both the impact and their spirits in making a world class banking app.
Presenting the journey from Life easy to Banking of tomorrow
We are fluid and young. tmw is an acronym, sms shorthand for tomorrow, used widely by the digital generation. The usage in lowercase reflects our brand personality — friendly, approachable and simple. Moreover, connoting that we are a brand that’s part of people’s day-to-day life. We are like them, we are for them.
We are here to challenge the banking of today, keeping in mind the needs of tomorrow.
Phase 1 — Journey inside
After a month of coming on-board, meeting team heads, understanding inter department issues, we narrowed down to two important tasks:
- Rebranding The Mobile Wallet
- Plan to synergize all our efforts to move forward
Phase 2 — Let’s understand
The Wallet space is considered to be a cashback business. The team at tmw had a clear vision of providing hassle free financial services. We aligned all the teams to one common goal — A New age banking experience
Phase 3 — The re-branding
After aligning the vision, it was important to give a new, fresh packaging to the products — The card, the app and the website.
