Claire Koeneman Joins Bully Pulpit Interactive As Partner, Expanding Corporate Communications Capabilities and Chicago Presence

Bully Pulpit Interactive (BPI) is excited to announce that Claire Koeneman is joining as a Partner, bringing her more than 20 years of c-suite advisory and financial expertise to the digital-first agency. She will be a part of BPI’s executive leadership team and be based in the growing Chicago office.

An award-winning corporate communications leader, Claire’s career has spanned from financial communications to crisis counseling to global client management. She joins BPI from Hill+Knowlton Strategies, where she was Executive Vice President, head of the Central region, and US practice leader for financial communications. In these roles, Claire served as a strategic advisor to C-suite executives and Boards of Directors. She is known for her sophisticated advice, refined people skills and significant expertise in corporate, IR, crisis and reputation management communications. Prior to joining H+K, Claire served as president of Financial Relations Board, where she partnered with senior management teams to help maximize their valuation and enhance their corporate reputation.

Claire is on the Board of Trustees for Lexington Realty Trust (NYSE: LXP) where she serves as Chair of its Nominating & Corporate Governance Committee. She is also a member of NACD, WomenCorporateDirectors (WCD), the Economic Club of Chicago, Leader Council of Mercy Home for Boys & Girls, and Chicago Finance Exchange. Additionally, Claire serves as a diplomat to the Principality of Monaco in its Honorary Consular Corps.

Claire has won numerous awards for her clients and has personally been awarded “IR Professional of the Year” from PR News, the Stevie “Best Executive in a Services Business” Award and PRWeek’s “Investor Relations Professional of the Year.” She holds a MBA in finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BA from Smith College.
