We were at TechHub London presenting to a full house.

We were there to talk about Brainiac.club, of course. A little intimidating, yes. Exciting, very much so.

I was a tiny bit on cloud 9 as I had just learnt a few hours before that my younger son, Matteo, had been offered a place at Tiffin Grammar, a top top school in the UK. Well done Matteo, you worked so hard, you did it, little man! And thank you for your input to Brainaic.Club since the summer, I was happy to offer your first (paid) summer internship and hear your views on what our strategy and product should be. All this was and is, in part, for you…

Anyway, the point is that I have been involved in tutoring, tutors, mentors, mocks tests, yet more mock tests, brain games, learning groups and all sorts of things for the past 6–7 years, ever since my first son Victor started being primed for the 11+ tests. He is now at Sutton Grammar, also a top, top school.

And we have been building and testing Brainaic.Club for the past 9 months; it has been plenty painful (like child-birth) but also super enjoyable (like after child birth).

But when you have a few minutes to present to large crowd, our main learning is this; always better to present the product in action rather than in words.
