Ten Pictures Of Bengal

A road journey, and ending it with a short train journey.

We wound up with our Mandarmani beach vacation and returned from the resort in Bengal to our Jharkhand (adjoining state) home; by car and by train. Here are some pictures I took along the way.

First, here’s a picture I took of the resort at night. The Diwali lights set up at night made me feel quite festive.

This is all of us at the Mandarmani beach resort at breakfast. My kids are missing because they overslept. These girls are our assistants at the dental clinic. Vikesh — my husband — and I are at the end furthest from the photographer.

We got into a Scorpio and started to drive to Kharagpur, where we would take a train to Tatanagar.
