A brand is your promise to your customer. It tells them what they can expect from your products and services, and it differentiates your offering from your competitors’. A brand matters because it gives a competitive advantage, gives a business a personality, leaves an impression, clarifies your goals, and establishes your value.

Last week we were asked to develop a brand to help solve a travel problem.

The problem: Jonas needs a quick inexpensive way to book a flight when traveling on short notice.

The solution: An app that helps you save while eating! Every time you purchase food, 10% of that purchase amount goes into your “travel” account. Your travel account can only be accessed when booking a flight.

Eat. Save. Travel.

We’re different because we help you save money for an upcoming trip in a subconscious way while finding you the best deals on flights across the nation.

The audience will target millennials who want to travel on short notice but don’t necessarily have the immediate funds to do so.

Three words that describe my brand are smart, adventure, and fly.

Some possible name options include:
• Dine & Jet
• Take to the Air
• Let’s Jet
• Eat & Fly
• Take Off

There’s always room for a good competition…

Some main competitors of my brand include Digit, Kayak, Clarity Money, Expedia, and Google Flights.

Digit
Everyday Digit analyzes your spending and moves the perfect amount of money from your bank account to your Digit account.

Kayak
Kayak searches hundreds of other travel sites so you don’t have to. Finding you the best deal.

Clarity Money
Clarity Money helps you track your spending and save smart.

Expedia
Expedia helps you save on hotels, find the perfect flight, and discover new things to do.

Google Flights
Google Flights helps you find the cheapest and best flight for you.
