Freshyo relaunches into the Nigerian market

Barely a year and six months after its factory was gutted by fire, Olam Foods has relaunched its yoghurt brand, Freshyo, into the Nigerian market.

The company assured consumers that the relaunched product is of the same high quality as before.

Freshyo was first launched into the market in 2013 but a fire incident which razed the factory in 2016 put paid to its production until the factory was rebuilt.

Speaking at the the relaunch in Lagos, the Marketing Manager, Bola Adeniyi, who described the brand as the Number Two in the yoghurt category given the market share it has garnered within the short time that it was introduced into the Nigerian market, said the brand was back in the market in response to the demands of its loyal consumers.

“ Now Freshyo is back because consumers have been waiting anxiously for Freshyo to be back, at least from the feedbacks wegot fromsome of our campaigns.”

Guests including Freshyo Ambassador and internet comic act, Emmanuella, and Freshyo distributors witnessed the relaunch which also featured the unveil of Frumil, a new fruit and milk product from the company.
