A short introduction of branding

Branding is not a logo.

It is a series of ideas that identifies a product or a company in people’s minds. Branding is reflected through action and recognized through a visual or verbal style.

Branding is bigger than Marketing.

It is not always about talking to customers. It is about communication with all people inside and outside the organization.

Branding has been known for 3000 years.

Our ancients first used branding by putting fire-heated marks to identify cattle ownership. Nowadays, branding is used by businesses to distinguish themselves from other products and services.

Branding changes people.

It changes how people think and behave. It impacts and reflects on society in many ways.

Branding creates value.

It brings values as in the strength of ideas, the change in how people act, and the financial value created.

Branding is the design of everything.

Great brands design beyond visual identity. It is the whole experience of both customers and employees. It should both look good and work well.
