How Small Regardful Gestures Can Make You Win Big?
I miss the winter chills so I thought of sharing something.
A person who feels appreciated will always do more than what you expect.
I too would say that it motivates me to hustle harder when I feel appreciated by clients.
Let me share this one incident with you.
During the festive season last year, one of my clients made a payment which was due.
It was the day before Dhanteras when Hindus pray to Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth & prosperity.
Instead of transferring an amount of INR 5000/-, due to an error, he sent me INR 50,000/-
Unfortunately, I had my notifications off then but as soon as I saw the phone number which sent me 50K, I dialed & realized it was a client.
I informed him & transferred the amt. back ASAP since we generally don’t pay on Dhanteras.
Cash must come in, not go out, for good luck ;)
What followed was overwhelming.
He praised my honesty, how I could never cheat.
My honesty, especially with money, has always been there since day one.
I believe that money earned out of honesty will always last longer than dishonest money.
To hear someone notice & praise it was truly overwhelming and memorable.
Also, as a Personal Branding Strategist, I encourage people to adopt values like honesty and appreciating their peers, because people always remember how you make them feel.
