Her love for literature and the English language materialized when she got her Hons. degree in the same field and started writing commercially.
All along she carried with her one desire- to make a difference to the world and be popular for the same.
What started off as writing during leisure time turned into a full-time job. Who knew!
After starting her journey as a writer, she took on certain projects where she wrote for famous brands like Nike, Macy’s, Target, Famous Footwear, etc.
And eventually diversified into new areas like Social Media, Copywriting, Blogging, Public Relations, Digital Marketing, Media Relations, Public Speaking, Coaching, Mentoring, Consulting, etc.
After gaining a mix of corporate jobs & freelancing experience, she thought it was the right time to build something of her own. She enrolled in a few courses and became a certified life coach.
But it was all not a bed of roses.
She failed miserably in this venture. While conducting webinars, she failed miserably.
Nobody would buy from her.
As nobody knew her.
It was then she realized her mistake.
“Koi mujhe jaanega nahi, to meri maanega kaise.”
(If a person wouldn’t know me, how would he follow what I say/recommend or sell.)
She needed people to know her.
And for that, she needed to have a personal brand.
Her newfound love was now, and still is, PERSONAL BRANDING.
There was no turning back then.
Of course, she had multiple failures but her goal kept her going.
