Here’s how to set this up in Brandgram:
- Create a page
- Add a hidden text block to your page.
- Give the hidden text block a title. E.g. Time of day Greeting.
- Select the Conditional tab under the Hidden Text section.
- Type Good morning in the hidden text textbox.
- On the if condition select the Time of Day option.
- Set the condition box to is.
- Set the condition value to the morning.
- Click the + button to add another condition.
- Repeat steps 5 to 8 for the afternoon and the evening greetings.
- Save the Hidden Text block.
- Add a block to display the conditional greeting. For example, add a headline block. In the headline text editor, click the plus button and select the conditional hidden text block you created.
That’s it! You now have a greeting that changes based on the time the viewer is on the page.
