If the name DROG isn’t familiar to you yet, it will be very soon, as the Bristol based producer is set to make some serious waves in 2018. Having spent the last few years honing his skills with a heavy focus on trap, DROG has already been the brains behind some really tight remixes, as well as his own original material. He has reworked songs from the likes of Kiiara, P-Holla and Charles Bradley, as well as being responsible for producing some great tracks for Buggsy, including the anthemic, Dreamer. He has a great ear for fleshing out already formed tracks with sounds and effects you didn’t even realise were ‘missing’, until you hear him work his magic. He is also particularly adept at breathing new life into old classics, like his recent remix for On Dis Ting by the now defunct, yet still infamous, Bristol grime outfit, Easton Yutez. He has now turned his eye to this 2015 track from Jibsta called Settle Down, which we are proud to bring to you as a Brapp exclusive. It’s a prime example of the way DROG approaches a remix, with the whole track being elevated to a new sound and style. You can check it out below and you can also familiarise yourself with the full DROG back catalogue over on Soundcloud.
