New Features in the Brapp App v2.1.1

The second in our series of app updates this summer has gone live in the App Store today packed with new features and major under-the-hood performance upgrades. Here are some of the new features in v2.1.1.

The “Now Playing” Bar

The new “Now Playing” bar (finally) allows you to navigate through the app without stopping the music. It indicates what you’re currently listening to; provides a Play/Pause control on the left; and you can press anywhere on the bar to open the beat or video in a new window, allowing you to ‘like’ and ‘comment’ without needing to relocate the original position of the content.

Pinned Posts

Have a favourite beat you’ve uploaded or video you’ve recorded? You can now pin it to the top of your profile to display it first.

New Icons in User Lists

When browsing user lists in the app, our new icons indicate if a user has created a video, uploaded a beat or reposted content; making it easier to see who the beat makers, performers and curators are.

Brapp Badges

Your Brapp badge now appears at the top of your settings page so you can quickly save and share it across your social networks.

Brapp News Updates

You can now see all of our Brapp updates including our artist highlights by going to Settings > Brapp News

Never-ending Exploration

The Explore videos and beats feeds in the app now paginate so you can continue exploring forever and ever.
