How Crowdsourcing Recruitment Can Drive Employee Diversity

“It’s proven time and time again that diverse organizations outperform those with lower percentage of diversity across gender, race and age.

It’s true that hiring individuals who do not look, talk, or think like you can allow you to dodge the costly pitfalls of conformity, which discourages innovative thinking.

In a recent survey from Management, Policy & Practice, the authors analyzed levels of gender diversity in research and development teams from 4,277 companies in Spain. Using statistical models, they found that “companies with more women were more likely to introduce radical new innovations into the market over a two-year period.

Another survey analysis of 2,400 companies conducted by Credit Suisse, says that organizations with at least one female board member yielded higher return on equity and higher net income growth than those that did not have any women on the board.

If diversity in your organization is so important — how can crowdsourcing through blockchain improve your chances of reaching more diverse individuals?

This seamless process doesn’t leave room for biases because candidates are recruited through a network of individuals thus avoiding the inevitable cultural biases that would otherwise undertake.
