Selling from a place of integrity
All the gurus say entrepreneurs need to be hardcore sales people. I would say you can be as hardcore as you want, as long as you believe in your product and don’t look needy. There are sales methods that are sadly still being taught and are not shining a bright light on selling.
We’ve all met the sales rep who has a script they’ve learned by heart and is just more repelling than anything else. The only reason these people can sometimes close a few people is because they talk to many. I wrote an article for the Personal Trainer Development Center about selling, and I believe anyone who wants to sell high ticket services can benefit from it.
