Good morning. Here is this weeks breakfast update, so you can get up to speed with what happened in media, social and tech.

A breakfast

Of course, the biggest event this week was the Apple keynote. Groundbreaking products and the following storm of people rambling about whats cool and whats not cool. No matter what, you can’t disagree that Apple keeps on pushing things forward, and is making a lot of money from it. TechCrunch have made you an overview of the announcements.

Instagram released some rather interesting ad features for the Stories function, with the most important being:

Integration with Facebook Canvas, offering a seamless extension of the full screen experience of Instagram Stories

An uploading tool that allows businesses to use their existing organic stories as ads in Power Editor and Ads Manager, unlocking the creative tools of the native Instagram Stories camera

As usual, many news from Facebook.

European charities may be looking at improved social media presence as Facebook is starting to roll out donations-buttons across Europa, and thereby also Scandinavia.

Social Media managers have wondering why the Facebook Business Manager had both an Ads Manager and the Power Editor. Facebook now merges these two into a combined and improved tool.

According to TNW, Facebook seems to have released their Bonfire app without saying a thing. And even in the Danish App store.

Social Media Week was taking place in London this week. If you are interested, but couldn’t go, Maya Schott and Anita Lykke Klausen are giving some very useful recaps. Here are links to Day 1, Day 2 and Day 3. Thanks for the recaps!

Google seems to have had some trouble with Gmail, Maps and Youtube, as users of all three platforms have experienced some downtime.

IKEA have teased for their new AR app Place this week. It is designed to work with Apples ARKit technology. Looks amazing! (Big ups!)

The worlds most hyped company have gone through another round of funding at a whopping $6 billion valuation. Can’t wait to see what comes out of all the investments.

That’s it for now. Enjoy your breakfast and your weekend.
