THE GIN GAME Featuring James Earl Jones & Cicely Tyson Opens Tonight!

D.L. Coburn’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play, The Gin Game, opens tonight on Broadway with Tony Award winners James Earl Jones and Cicely Tyson in the starring roles. The revival began previews at the Golden Theatre on September 23. Directed by Leonard Foglia, the production’s limited run is scheduled through Jan. 10, 2016.

Tyson and Jones are sharing a Broadway stage for the first time since 1966, when they appeared in A Hand Is On The Gate at the Longacre Theatre. They also starred in the long-running Off-Broadway production of Jean Genet’s The Blacks.
