As part of my role at Radify and preparing students for modern careers, I like to keep my eyes open for new tools. When I come across something awesome I test it out myself and then share it with our students so that they can add it to their toolset.

I’ve started a new series of monthly medium articles where I share a few tools that I found particularly useful during the month. At Radify we’re currently focused on preparing students for roles in marketing, user experience, product management, and graphic design so until we launch new tracks (we have a few in the works!) most tools will have a creative-focus.

Let’s dive into the best tools I found in February 2019.
(You can see what tools I found in January here)

MixKit

Mixkit is a curated gallery of high-quality videos and animations, made by some of the world’s most talented creators, and all of the content is licensed for you to use for free. It’s a great resource to keep in mind for the next time you need stock video for a project.

Designer Hunt

This is an awesome place to follow, discover, and get inspiration from great designers.

Live Mockups

This tool helps you quickly create video mockups of your websites, apps, and prototypes. You can also export the mockups in MP4 or GIF, and even upload background images.

UserBit

Userbit is a really great tool for UX designers and teams that allows you to create interview notes, personas, sitemaps and design documents to bring founders, designers, and developers on the same page.

Coda

Coda is a smarter version of Google Docs and is designed to grow with your ideas. It comes with a set of building blocks, so you can build docs as powerful as apps — better yet, it’s 100% free.
