Grounding, also known as “Earthing”, is a set of activities that reconnects us again with nature.

The most common, and easiest, is simply by taking off our shoes and socks — standing barefoot in the ground.

There is just something comforting and natural when the raw, cold earth touches the skin of your toes, sole and heel touches.

How-to: Grounding

All you need to ground yourself with Mother Earth are afew minutes spare and access to a garden, nature park, or simply a spot with some open grass.

Grounding can be done during a lunch break, on your way to work or when you wake up.

Instructions:

Take off your shoes and socks

Stand with your feet shoulder width apart

Open your arms

Do nothing…

By doing nothing for the duration of the grounding (a few minutes), you can inhale the clean air, absorb the sound of birds and other animals, and feel the wind on your skin to fully reconnect with nature.
