Today’s frigid temperatures and snow were dismissed by thousands of Brewers fans today who came to Miller Park or went online to be among the first to purchase individual tickets to Brewers games for 2014.
As of 3 pm, the Brewers have sold a total of 91,000 tickets today, 4,000 more than last year and one of the highest numbers of total tickets sold in a single day in Brewers history.
In addition, the Club announced that Opening Day (March 31 versus the Braves) is sold out, except for a limited number of tickets that remain as part of Season Seat packages (see below). Several additional games have very limited inventory remaining.
“This has been a long winter for everyone in Wisconsin, but this shows that Brewers fans are thinking ahead toward summer and baseball at Miller Park,” said Brewers Chief Operating Officer Rick Schlesinger. “As always, we encourage everyone to purchase tickets in advance, and with demand-based pricing the best deals will typically be for tickets purchased early.”
Fans still have the opportunity to obtain tickets to the Home Opener and all of the high demand games with the purchase of a partial or full Season Seat plan. Information on Season Seat plans is available by calling 414–902-HITS.
As part of today’s Arctic Tailgate activities, the first 2,000 fans at the Box Office received a free Arctic Tailgate t-shirt, a Klement’s hot dog and a Pepsi. In addition, the Brewers and Leinenkugel partnered for the first time to bring a warming tent and Summer Shandy samples to fans who braved the elements last night.
