Isaiah Brown was driven home after his car broke down by a Virginia sheriff on April 21. Less than an hour later, that same sheriff shot him multiple times. There was a report of a domestic altercation between him and his brother. The black and gay 32-year-old was in the middle of a heated incident and called 911 for help.

Isaiah had his cordless house phone to his ear, but the cop mistook it for a gun. He was on the phone with the 911 dispatcher. We can hear the cop scream that he has a gun to his head from his body-cam footage.

“Drop the gun now and stop walking towards me,” the cop screamed. “Stop walking towards me. Stop. Stop.”

Gunshots. The cop still demanded Isaiah drop the “gun” and show his hands despite being shot multiple times. He is now on a breathing machine, and fortunately is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The deputy is now on administrative leave. In the end, the cop shot Isaiah Brown ten times.

In the 911 call, he can be heard asking his brother for a gun and saying he was going to kill his brother. However, he also makes it clear to the dispatcher that he isn’t armed before the cop arrived. In the call, you can also hear his brother refuse to…
