Build 9.0.5.1375 has been released to OTN as the Oracle JDeveloper 10g preview. Release day is always nice :) It should be available to download today or some time over the weekend.

Work for the production release started a couple of weeks ago, and we’ve been working flat out for it. Most of the changes between preview and production will be limited to bug fixes, but there are a few “exception” features. Yesterday, Paul Balmforth (developer of the CVS support in JDeveloper) checked in support for a CVS repository browser. You can use this to see the files in a CVS repository (including modules) without downloading them.

At about the same time, I checked in support for a version control “checked out files window”. This is kind of like the “list checkouts” window we have at the moment for Oracle SCM and ClearCase, but it tracks changes as you check files in and out (or change them in CVS) and provides a convenient way to commit all your changes at once.
