Bribe Protocol is excited to announce that BRIBE token emissions for stakers of AAVE and stkAAVE in the Aave Bribe pool have been reinstated. These emissions allow stakers in the Aave pool to earn BRIBE tokens as the voting powers of the pool are auctioned off to the highest bidder.

At Bribe, we offer emissions as an important part of our token model. Emissions are a vital tool that protocols employ to bootstrap liquidity by increasing the attractiveness of the pool for all participants. Furthermore, it is also an important way for the protocol to reward community members for their support and participation.

The parameters for BRIBE emissions are as follows:

  • 50K BRIBE will be allocated from February 28, 2022, to March 6, 2022

The core team at Bribe will continue to set the emissions parameters for existing pools until the Bribe DAO has been established. Following the launch of the Bribe DAO, stakers of BRIBE will vote on the allocation of BRIBE emissions, which can include starting, increasing, reducing or even ending emissions for Bribe pools.

The emissions of BRIBE play a pivotal role in Bribe’s ecosystem and offer a competitive reward for staking in the Aave pool. We are beyond thrilled to offer this opportunity to stakers of AAVE and stkAAVE in the Bribe pool. For more information on the use cases of the BRIBE token, check out this article.

About Bribe

Bribe creates DAO infrastructure tooling to incentivize protocol participation. Depositors stake their governance tokens in the Bribe pool to earn income. Bidders borrow the staked votes to support or reject governance proposals. Bribe V1 introduces Voter Extractable Value (VEV) to coordinate and auction powerful coalitions of DAO votes. Bribe is best used as part of a well-balanced and active delegation strategy.
