Jack Kleinhenz, Ph.D. is chief economist for the National Retail Federation, the world’s largest retail trade association. As a professional economist with more than 35 years of experience working with Fortune 500 companies, banking firms, regulators, planners, universities, airports, manufacturers, chambers of commerce, trade associations, non-profit organizations and state and local government agencies.

Dr. Kleinhenz serves as a board director to the National Bureau of Economic Research, the nation’s leading nonprofit economic research organization. Appointed by the U.S. Secretary of Labor in 2015, Jack is a member of the Bureau of Labor Statistics Data Users Advisory Committee. He is a member of the Governor of Ohio’s Council of Economic Advisors and the Northeast Ohio Council of Economic Policy Advisors.
