- The BBC says, ‘…incandescent light bulb, the television, the World Wide Web, and yes, the computer — all pioneered by inventors from across the UK. This trailblazing tradition is alive and well today.’ The BBC also talks about ‘UK’s National Quantum Strategy: a ten-year, multi-billion-pound roadmap to put the UK at the pinnacle of quantum research.’ While the UK is surely innovative in tech, it is in journalism that it’s groundbreaking. Take this Daily Mail headline for instance: Paris Hilton looks shocked as she walks into F1 party where she is set to DJ and notices the room is barely filled as trolls giggle at her ‘panic’… but soon after the space is PACKED with fans
- Long long titles are the future of writing, ladies and gentlemen. Long long long long titles. Until the content disappears and only the titles remain.
- All art is done and enjoyed on a full stomach. If you don’t believe me, try to write a poem, enjoy an Ingmar Bergman movie or read Murakami while you’re hungry. Couldn’t, could you?
- Entertainment on the other hand can be done and enjoyed on an empty stomach too. You can still enjoy gossip, a YouTube short, or a sports match while hungry. This makes entertainment a poor man’s art. And art is something just for the wealthy and fulfilled.
