Guess What? LEGO Stores Sell Pets Now!
So, I got myself a parrot and three puppies… 😁
The parrot I named very suggestively M&M, while the tree puppies — also named suggestively — are Fudge, Meringue, and Cookie. I have been told by some of my friends that what I need in my life is a pet. What I told my friends every time, was to feck off and let me enjoy my petless life. The last thing I want is clean off poop in my spare time. Isn’t enough hassle having to clean my own toilet? Seriously, people… A childless, petless life may sound incredibly selfish, but it’s also pretty damn awesome and comfortable.
Based on that categoric declaration of no interest in pets, you have probably gathered that the pets I got myself in April 2023 are not real. Well, they are, they’re just not alive. They’re made of bricks. LEGO bricks. I must congratulate the Danish toymaker for creating two absolutely fantastic pet sets in 2023, so fantastic in fact that I had no doubts whatsoever about picking up the Adorable Dogs and the Exotic Parrot. Both are Creator 3-in1 sets, which makes them even better value for money, so without further ado, let me dive right into both sets, individually, and convince you that these are indeed pets that anyone will love, even a “heartless bastard” like me. 😁
