I’ve always loved plants and flowers, but we are never able to have any in the house, because the beloved “li’l lion overlord” of the house likes them a little too much too.

Jack loves to lay in the soil of plants similar to how he loves to sprawl out on beds when he gets the chance. And then he tracks soil all over the place. Even flowers capture his attention a little too much and he can investigate them too much, causing a mess in addition to the general worry about if he’ll eat them and become sick.

Suffice it to say, we never have plants in the house thanks to this little angel.

But my fiance has always wanted to get me flowers and plants since he knows I love them. So, for Valentine’s Day, he decided to combine two of my loves: having flowers in the apartment and assembling a LEGO set.
