Proof that even a $4 LEGO set can generate just as much excitement as high price-tag models…
So, what are you gonna build first? I got that question at the till the other day, as I was paying for a bunch of Star Wars sets and “one more thing”. That one more thing was, in fact, the main reason I visited the LEGO store that day. Sure, I forked out nearly 500 bucks on Star Wars sets, but the thing that got my heart beating faster that morning than the thought of having breakfast with Princess Leia in a Galaxy far, far away, was, in fact, the cheapest set I have ever purchased, costing me just 3.99 euros. And I couldn’t wait to build it!
I am fully aware that I often praise large LEGO sets. LEGO sets that cost in excess of $100, at times well over 2 or even 300. But don’t let that mislead you. Small sets can be equally exciting, and LEGO might have just released the cheapest ever set line that made not just this four-decades-old adult happy, but will make millions of kids just as excited to sit down and build their 3.99 F1 race car. And who knows what else…? 😉
