As a kid, looking back, I must admit, I was pretty lucky. Somehow, my parents managed to land enough connections around Central and Western Europe that even during communism, I managed to get my hands on some pretty interesting toys and books. One of those books was a Snow White graphic novel. Not just any ol’ graphic novel, though. Hardcover with alternate endings to the old story, published by the Brothers Grimm in 1812. My first-ever “choose your own adventure” book, that I remember reading a million times. It’s no wonder when LEGO released in March 2024 their new Disney set — Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’ Cottage — I bolted to the store right away.

After 38 years, I had again the opportunity to choose my own Snow White adventure, this time with LEGO bricks. No one says no to that!

Even if it’s a 220 bucks set. You do get a fair number of pieces for your money though — 2228 to be more exact — so piece-count alone should make this already an enticing set. There’s more to it though, as it comes with 10…
