Bridge for Billions is the online incubator for early-stage entrepreneurs globally to launch successful businesses, by enabling them to structure and refine their ideas step by step with a mentor.
With the double conviction that Ghanaian students do not have access to good learning materials that complement content in their textbooks; and that it is time to capitalize on new technologies to scale education services, Chris Bimpong created A-Plus, an e-learning platform for students in Ghana.
A-Plus E-Learning assists high school students in West Africa in their studies. The learning experience has been made entertaining, and users are encouraged to interact with the community, course administrators and friends. The app (pre-installed on tablets) contains video lessons on all Junior and Senior High School syllabus, 100,000+ questions, locally published books and forums for students. All the tutorials are carefully designed based on the West African Examination Council curriculum. Students without internet access at home can purchase a special and affordable package that provides them with equipped tablets.
Chris got to know Bridge for Billions through David from Agro Mindset, another Bridge for Billions’ Entrepreneur. He was assigned 2 mentors from Ghana and Nigeria with a strong interest in education, and the collaboration was very fruitful according to them:
