We are so excited to launch the ability to send highlights from articles you discover and add to Briefly to Readwise. If you don’t know Readwise, it is a terrific way to revisit and remember content you read. Readwise takes your highlights from places like Kindle, Twitter, Instapaper (and now Briefly!) and resurfaces them daily so you can integrate that knowledge instead of forgetting it the moment you finish reading.

I especially love their Twitter thread saving feature. It turns what would be so much status update ephemera into knowledge you can leverage over time.

You obviously need a Readwise account to use this feature, so if you don’t have one, sign up at readwise.io. Truly one of my favorite internet tools.

You then need get a token from Readwise so Briefly can send highlights to your Readwise account.

You then add that token to your Briefly settings:

or access Briefly settings from your profile page.

As you highlight articles in Briefly, those highlights will show up in Readwise in the Articles category and then will resurface daily along with the rest of your Readwise highlights:

In Briefly…
… and in Readwise

Please give it a try and leave us a comment here or on Twitter or in our forums and let us know what you think!
