Monday’s battle royale between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump lived up to expectations, delivering the largest-ever TV audience for a presidential debate in history. Among the 84 million viewers were Bay Area Brigade fans who attended our nonpartisan watch party cohosted by Hotel Zetta, INFORUM and KQED.

Throughout the evening, guests sipped specialty cocktails, noshed on snacks from The Cavalier, Zetta’s British-themed brasserie, and shared real-time ratings of their preferred candidate’s performance.

The event was a draw for local media, including KTVU, the San Francisco Examiner, KCBS Radio and KTSF. KTVU’s live coverage from the party can be viewed here, here and here; the Examiner’s front-page story is here.

Our next two debate watch parties are already sold out, so thanks in advance for securing your tickets. If you can’t make it, feel free to pass your tickets along to friends!
