While working we always end up with enormous list of chrome tabs as always. But this is a very bad habit to put your important off the focus. You should have more systematic way to clean up unused tabs and retrieve it when needed.

Tabs Lifecycle: Ultimately we want to remove/organize inactive tabs in our screen AND retrieve somehow when needed.

Chrome extensions are very helpful to execute repetitive tasks, there are pretty useful extensions out there that will help you accomplish your task more efficiently.

Moreover, most of the time we always spend the time on our PC open up the browser, its much convenient to control and execute tasks within the browser, this reduce window management crisis.
