Giving event organisers a chance to present their plans, whether the event is fully fledged or just the seed of an idea, the Town Hall Meeting is an opportunity to meet others, connect and collaborate. Anyone wanting to organise an event, volunteer or find out about sponsorship opportunities is encouraged to attend.

Additionally, the Festival team will talk about this year’s plans for the arts and education programme, what to expect in September, how to get involved and layout a timeline through to September.

Festival director — Laurence Hill said ‘I’m so happy that we’re able to kick off this year’s festival earlier than ever, it pleases me especially as we want the festival to have more of a year round presence. It’s always exciting to hear ideas people are already forming and to see connections made in the room — that to me is at the core of the festival.

As a team — we’ll share what we’re programming for this year, how we’re thinking about the festival and what opportunities are coming up. We welcome thoughts and ideas from the audience too and we’ll make sure there’s a forum for doing that.’

Attendance is free but signing up here in advance is recommended.

Brighton Digital Festival will be running from 14 September to 13 October 2017. We’d like to thank Arts Council England for their ongoing support and EDF our premiere sponsors.
